After the shooting

We like your work & we would like to hire you. What's next?

Great! Whenever you are ready, we require a booking reservation fee which once we received it, we will be sending you a general photography agreement.

When do we need to reserve our date?

As soon as possible. I shoot only one event per day, so I work on a first-come, first-served basis. After you are absolutely sure I am the photographer for your big day, I will require a non-refundable booking reservation fee and once confirmed I will be sending you a general agreement to sign. After that you can count on me to be there with my cameras for the most anticipated day of your life.

Can we meet up and discuss details?

The majority couples actually hire me without an in-person meeting. I am very quick and very thorough with emails and able to answer most questions that way. If you are not much of a typing person, I would be happy to talk to you on the phone or schedule a FaceTime / Zoom video meeting.

How many images do we get?

I believe in quality over quantity. Typically, for an average 8-hour wedding session you will receive between 400-600 edited images.

Do you work with a second shooter?

Usually no. I work alone but if you would like to have two different perspectives of your special day, I will gladly arrange that. I have an assistant coming on weddings with me. The assistant is in charge of everything I might need and a great second-hand, both for me and the couple.

Can I see a full event from start to finish?

Of course you may! I pride myself on the consistency of my work. I understand all photographers put up their best shots from each wedding on their websites so it’s hard to determine how well he or she will perform on the wedding day. That is why I encourage all of our potential clients to view full events from all photographers they meet with to see how well the photographer performs throughout the day.

What kind of Camera / Equipment do you use?

I use top of the line professional Canon, FujiFilm, Profoto, Aputure, Wescott, Elinchrom and only top brands equipment, with a really extensive backup on each of them. I believe, and I will always believe, that there is so much more to wedding photography than just nice equipment. However, that is not to say your wedding photographer shouldn’t have nice equipment.

Do you edit all our photographs?

Yes, I do! Every image that you receive has been hand-edited, one at the time, without batching in bulk groups or mass-producing the results. Also I often select a few favorites for special attention above and beyond the individual image editing.

How do we arrange your travel?

Travel expenses for weddings and photo shootings within 20 kilometers from Limassol will be covered within the package fee. Minor travel expenses apply if it is required to travel to any other city from Cyprus.

Can you hold the date for me?

Sorry, unfortunately I cannot hold the date or pencil you in. To be fair to everyone I can’t “hold” a date without a booking reservation fee and a signed agreement.

Do you provide cinematography services?

Yes, I do. Along with photography, I provide cinematography services, please get in touch for more details.

We have a break in between our ceremony and our reception. Can we break up our hours?

We will be with you for as many hours as you chose for the coverage, and that will include the break. If you need additional hours, just let us know and if it is possible, we'll be adding them with additional cost.

What if our reception runs later than we expected? Can you stay until the end?

Of course we can! If we stay more than 20 mins late, you will need to add additional coverage, just let us know in advance.

Have you shot at my venue before?

For sure I will! If I have photographed a wedding there before it really isn’t necessary for me and my team to scout it. If the venue is not too far away we can arrange a date to go have a look around. If you are getting married a bit further away and it is too difficult for me to see the venue, I will make sure to give myself and my team enough time before we start shooting to familiarise ourselves with the venue.

Do we need to provide the dinner for you?

If your wedding shooting takes more than 8 hours, yes, please. By the time it is dinnertime I’ve usually worked for at least six hours. A meal helps myself and my assistant with that last stretch.

Can we ask you to stay a bit longer?

Of course, you can. Sometimes schedules don’t work out as planned and things do run overtime. If you want us to stay longer we’ll discuss it with you and I’ll provide you the additional cost which needs to be paid on the wedding day.

Will you be shooting the wedding?

Yes. You are hiring me to shoot the wedding, not another photographer working under my name.

Where should we seat you?

We will need at first for us to have somewhere to sit and also put down our bags and extra equipment. We have been carrying this around for the whole day. It is not necessary and we do not need anything major and we also don’t need to sit with your guests. Ideally, you can place us somewhere in a corner or in a room next door that is perfectly fine. For making sure we do not miss any moments of your wedding, we need to be relatively close to the action and to know it is safe to place our equipment there.

Do you have any restrictions on which weddings you decide to photograph?

No, of course not! Religion, race, sexual orientation is NOT a deciding factor for us. We’d love to be a part of your day and what’s important to us is that you’re marrying your partner in life. We consider that is very important that there should also be some chemistry between a couple and their wedding photographers. You’ll be spending a lot of time with us on the day and it is really important that we all feel comfortable around each other.

When can we expect to receive our photographs?

You can expect to receive your edited photographs within six to eight weeks. If your shooting is in peak season, please expect your photographs in eight to twelve weeks, as all the images will be manually edited.

Can we post our photographs on Social Media?

Sure, of course you can, as long as you don’t use it for commercial purposes or sell it you are more than welcome to post them. If you check, on your private online gallery there is a folder with Social Media friendly images. When you post, it would be awesome if you could give us a mention as we appreciate any referrals!

How long are you keeping our photographs?

We keep your photographs as long as we possibly can, in fact, we keep the final edits on a private online gallery on a secure cloud account which is off our propriety. If, however, it gets to a point where we can’t afford to keep the photographs we will have to delete it. We encourage you to keep a copy of your photographs on multiple computers and, if possible, on multiple locations. We can suggest a cloud service as Google Drive, Dropbox or iClould for a secure backup of your precious memories.

Can we have the RAW images?

Unfortunately, we do not hand over the RAW images we have captured. Providing the RAW images it is let's say the equivalent of going to a select restaurant and ask for the raw ingredients of your food, instead of having the pleasure of an experienced chef preparing them for you. :)

As professional photographer in Cyprus, I offer special pricing options for anyone having their photo shoot on fascinating and special locations with interesting backgrounds and beautiful colors, so don`t hesitate to write us – i’ll flex my fingers and I will make sure to make it happen within your budget!
