Our latest blog post is about a stunning portrait photography shoot done by myself, a modern Limassol portrait photographer with many years of experience shooting images of beautiful people from all walks of life.

I recently asked my assistant, Angelina, to find someone expressive for an editorial portrait I wanted to take, and also to find a location where we can shoot. She came to me with a close friend of hers, Elpida, and chose the Limassol Marina and surrounding areas as the location for our shoot.

Elpida has the most beautiful green eyes and I tried to capture her personality and her eyes through the lens of my camera. Elpida chose the dress herself which matched perfectly with her personality and colouring – the redness of her hair, the green of her eyes and the brightness of her lipstick.

For our shoot with Elpida we made our way to Carnagio, an area situated very close to the new Limassol Marina. The shoot took place in the later hours of the afternoon, giving us some stunning lighting that brought out Elpida’s natural glow. I focused primarily on Elpida’s profile which was beautifully silhouetted against the sun in many of my shots, giving them a rich, warm softness. My aim was to bring out her personality and of course, her stunning green eyes, and skilfully capture her mood and character within each and every photo.

As a modern Limassol portrait photographer I make it my mission to bring out the best in each client, bringing forth their personalities into each and every picture as professionally and resourcefully as possible. I make use of the natural lighting, the surrounding environment and of course, the natural beauty of each and every model. I look deep into the model’s eyes, searching for the story that is waiting to be revealed behind those eyes.

Being a modern Limassol portrait photographer means I am fortunate enough to work with people of many different ages and backgrounds. Elpida was a wonderful model who really worked well with the camera. Though she was a little uncomfortable at first we gradually got into a rhythm and she soon became more relaxed in front of the camera. I thoroughly enjoyed capturing the shoot and worked closely with her to put her at ease and make the session fun, enjoyable and rewarding.
