This week’s blog article brings us to an enchanted wedding photo session, which took amongst the grounds of a beautiful vineyard and winery in Paphos.
The loving protagonists of our shoot, Marina and Xristos, got married three years ago at Agia Triada Church in Limassol, amongst the surroundings of a very modern and vibrant wedding. However the focus of our story is not on their wedding day, but on a photo session that took place very recently.
An Enchanted Wedding Photo Session at Winery in Kannaviou
Marina and Xristos met at a gym in 2008. I didn’t take long for them to fall head over heels in love for one another and around two years later Xristos proposed to Marina in front of her father. With great joy in her heart and tears in her eyes she answered a definitive ‘yes’, and to this day the couple have been completely besotted with one another.
We came up with the idea of a ‘love the dress’ wedding photo session after Marina told me that she would love to wear her wedding dress again – not to get married, but for a photo shoot. Her excitement at being able to wear such a stunning dress again was evident through the pictures, and it was such an honour to capture the special memories of their wedding day all over again.
We shot the photos in Kannaviou, Paphos, with the stunning Ezousa winery as the focus of our shoot. We were able to take advantage of the beautiful setting sun to complement the pictures, and despite the difficult terrain for a bride and groom, we began shooting pictures in the vineyard and made our way slowly towards the winery. On our way to the vineyard we found a park where we shot some charming, enchanted shots filled with leaves representing the wonderful colours of autumn.
Our wedding photo shoot was heartfelt, fun and very romantic. The couple really played up to the camera, and their love for another shone through, ensuring some beautiful pictures as a result.
